Latest Circumcision Technique: Bloodless Circumcision

Want to Get Circumcised but Don’t Know Which Method to Choose?

Currently, what circumcision techniques are being used? When we search for information on circumcision on the Internet, the first result that comes up is bloodless circumcision. This is a new circumcision technique that has gained a lot of popularity today. Many people may be wondering what bloodless circumcision is, whether it really does not result in bleeding, and many other questions that might arise. Today, let’s find the answers together!

What is Bloodless Circumcision?

Bloodless circumcision (Staple Circumcision) is a technique that uses automated tools to circumcise the skin covering the penis, allowing for cutting and suturing to be done simultaneously. Additionally, there is very little bleeding, with only minor seepage.

In terms of cleanliness, bloodless circumcision employs single-use equipment, eliminating concerns about contamination from others, and it offers high precision. The procedure typically takes only 10 to 15 minutes.

However, despite the many advantages of bloodless circumcision, there are still some issues, such as sutures becoming embedded in the tissue, sutures not detaching, or inadequate bleeding control after the procedure. To address these problems, Dr. Beer has designed and developed a new type of bloodless circumcision device called the “Titanium Bloodless Circumcision,” aimed at resolving the issues associated with traditional circumcision methods.

Why Use the Titanium Bloodless Circumcision Device?

Dr. Beer recognized the problems associated with older models of bloodless circumcision devices, which are mostly imported from China. In China, bloodless circumcision is very popular in both hospitals and clinics, much like in Thailand. After having used these devices, Dr. Beer observed that common bloodless circumcision tools still have many weaknesses.

For instance, even after the procedure, there may still be bleeding, and the thick skin covering the penis might not be cut through in one go. The stainless steel sutures can become embedded in the tissue and fail to detach, leading to the need for repeated corrective procedures.

To address these persistent problems, Dr. Beer engaged in discussions with manufacturers about developing a new technique for bloodless circumcision. This collaboration resulted in the creation of the Titanium Bloodless Circumcision device, specifically designed to resolve the issues found in older models. The blade has been crafted to be round and sharp, ensuring clean cuts and aesthetically pleasing results. The sutures are made from titanium, which is smaller in size yet provides greater strength.

Additionally, a silicone spacer has been incorporated to aid in hemostasis, allowing only minimal bleeding and facilitating easier removal of the sutures. The duration of the procedure is only about 5 minutes, making it an extremely quick circumcision option.

Circumcision Techniques Available in 4 Levels

Many people might be surprised to learn that circumcision can be chosen at different levels. Isn’t it just about cutting off the foreskin? Dr. Beer recognizes that each individual has different sizes and lengths of their penis, and not every circumcision technique will suit everyone. Therefore, Dr. Beer has categorized circumcision techniques into four levels as follows:

  1. Minimal Circumcision: This technique involves removing only a small portion of the foreskin to address issues with excessive length or tightness that makes cleanliness difficult. It allows the head of the penis to be more easily exposed.
  2. Partial Circumcision: This method removes a portion of the foreskin while leaving some to cover the sensitive area when the penis is flaccid. When the penis becomes erect, the head can be fully exposed.
  3. Loose Circumcision: In this level, the head of the penis is completely exposed when erect, with only a small amount of skin remaining around the sensitive area when the penis is flaccid.
  4. Tight Circumcision: This technique involves completely removing the foreskin, resulting in no hanging skin around the penis. When flaccid, there will be no foreskin covering the head of the penis, and when erect, the penis may not be able to move up and down freely.

For each type of circumcision, the specialist will choose the most appropriate method for the patient, considering factors like the thickness of the foreskin and the size of the penis.

How Many Days Does It Take for the Wound to Heal After Circumcision?

If the patient follows the doctor’s post-circumcision care instructions and does not experience any problems or complications after the surgery, the wound will gradually dry up within one week. However, during the first three days, the wound should not come into contact with water. After three days, normal bathing can resume. The titanium sutures will dissolve completely in about 20 days, promoting faster healing. Sexual intercourse can be resumed within two months.

Summary of Bloodless Circumcision

Bloodless circumcision is currently considered the best option for medical innovations, especially the titanium version, which is the most effective technique for circumcising the foreskin. It is evident that compared to older methods, the surgical time and recovery period are significantly shorter. Additionally, the common issues associated with older circumcision techniques have been resolved. If anyone wants to consult or learn more about circumcision, you can directly inquire at the clinic.
